Yellow clocks

Here's another clock I snapped at Metrojaya in Midvalley. It has a nice racing feel to it. It was discounted to about RM20.

Time for more yellow and black

Time for more yellow and black. Saw this clock at the Gardens at an ID store. Don't know the price but its on sale at least.

Delicious noodles

Here is a bunch of things from my recent trip to Hong Kong. The first is this plate of noodles. Maybe it was because we were starving but this plate of wan tan mee - our first meal in HK was quite delicious. My only regret was that I couldn't finish the plate. HKD30

New places unsual things

I love being taken away from normalcy. When you're in a foreign country even ordinary things seem exciting and new. Here's a HK vending machine with labels of drinks I've never tried.

Lotsa food in HK

We ate lots of nice things in Hong Kong include this Pau from a Dim Sum place. It's filled with sugary custard. Very sinful and ultra delicious. We ate lots and the bill came up to HKD130 for 3 people. Very reasonable.

Silk tie galore

Check out the tie at the end with the ancient Chinese writing. I think the ties were selling for HKD100 for 4. Too bad I don't wear ties.

Shoes logo

Not one of my most impressive items but I think it was one of the firsts. Yellow and black shoe logo.

Doggie

This adorable dog was holding a yellow rope in his mouth. He was just sitting at one of the stalls being set up on Ladies street in HK. We arrived early and things weren't set up yet and I got a picture of him.

Imitation bag

HK is full of imitation bags and you may recognize this one. It's so yellow and black that I'd consider using it myself.

Delicious mango pudding

HK is famous also for these delicious mango puddings. Mango's are great but I especially like the Philippine mangoes. This one was nice too. I think this particular bowl cost around HKD20.

CAT

We stumbled into the salvation army store in HK and found some CAT merchandise. CAT which is short for Caterpillar makes tractors and other yellow and black things. This is probably a freebie - but being sold at HKD10.

Hopping yellow and black

A yellow and black frog. Very lovely. Don't know the price.

Delicious tarts

These tarts are so delicious and they only cost HKD6 a piece. What? They're worth it.

Guess what this is

Guess what this device strapped to a pole in the street does? Well at a cross walk you look at the green man to know when its ok to cross. If you're blind, maybe you listen for a walk siren which is a repeating tone at a particular speed. If you're blind and deaf, you put your finger underneath this device, and feel its vibrations. Amazing.

Bart head

I love the Simpson's and Hong Kong has lots of Simpson merchandise, although not all original. This is a Bart head coin box i found at one of the street markets in HK. Didn't ask the price but you'd be sure to get about a 50% discount.

Even Bruce Lee likes it

The greatest martial art hero likes yellow and black. Bruce Lee is great because he doesn't just play a kung fu warrior in the movies, he IS one in real life. If you watch his biography, you'd know that he developed a martial arts style called Jeet Kune Do. He was said to be able to punch a guy across a room by moving his fist just 1 inch. This is a wax figure of him at Madame Tussaud in HK.

Time for more yellow and black

Saw a big add for this watch at Landmark on Makati Avenue. Then I saw it in the counter. It's actually kinda ugly - but its Nike and its yellow and black. My guess is around PHP800. I could be totally off.

Want.... I want....

Whenever I go to the Philippines, I always check ebay for something to buy. I saw this PSP Simpson special edition for PHP12,500. Oh I want it so bad. This photo was taken from a shop. It's yellow and it comes with the Simpson's game on UMD. It's a special limited edition PSP only available in Europe.

Trendy

Pinays are quite trendy sometimes. And I've always liked Kenneth Cole stuff. My sis gave me a Kenneth Cole toiletries bag and I love it. These are yellow Kenneth Cole ladies handbags I saw at Rustan's in Glorietta. Knowing Kenneth Cole, these costs a lot. Maybe PHP10k?

Furniture too

The Phillippines has some nice furniture including this yellow chair. I think the frame is steel but the material is some sort of leather. Guess pricing around PHP3500 per chair.

Northface bag

Here is another bag spotted in the Philippines. This time its a huge duffle bag from Northface. Must be quite expensive. Estimate PHP1000.

Milestone

I've surpassed 100 posts with this one. Since I travel, I not only see yellow and black things in my home country of Malaysia but I also pick up stuff from places I visit. I'm not saying these things you can only get in those countries, only that they exist there as well. First an adidas bag from the Philippines. Don't know the cost for this one. Estimate it at PHP300.
