Getting married yellow and black style

This photo accompanied a story about a bride who planned her wedding meticulously then ended up in a carriage accident. Sorry.

Eco friendly yellow and black

Here is a lightweight electric vehicle from electric bikes [http://www.electric-bikes.com/]. It has a 150mile range at 70mph. Pretty zippy. I like.

Adidas football Euro 2008

Adidas football for Euro 2008. I think this is a practice ball. It has the markings but not the stitching of the actual game ball. For that reason, the price is probably in the region of RM40.

yellow and black diarrhea explosion of posts

I took a long vacation from posting but I've still been collecting yellow and black things. So prepare for a yellow and black diarrhea explosion of posts.

Bathing

This is a bath sponge although it looks a lot like those mops or furry carpets. Its yellow and sold in Carrefour. Might get one. Less than RM5 probably.

Sunday, July 6, 2008

I have a yellow and black yoga mat. Actually it was cream but here is a yellow and black yoga mat which is actually Yellow. Still Nike. Still RM80.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

This pair of dice came with a Simpsons Monopoly game. Later I found a shop selling yellow and black dice for RM0.60 a piece. I bought 5.

Yellow clocks

Here's another clock I snapped at Metrojaya in Midvalley. It has a nice racing feel to it. It was discounted to about RM20.

Time for more yellow and black

Time for more yellow and black. Saw this clock at the Gardens at an ID store. Don't know the price but its on sale at least.

Delicious noodles

Here is a bunch of things from my recent trip to Hong Kong. The first is this plate of noodles. Maybe it was because we were starving but this plate of wan tan mee - our first meal in HK was quite delicious. My only regret was that I couldn't finish the plate. HKD30

New places unsual things

I love being taken away from normalcy. When you're in a foreign country even ordinary things seem exciting and new. Here's a HK vending machine with labels of drinks I've never tried.

Lotsa food in HK

We ate lots of nice things in Hong Kong include this Pau from a Dim Sum place. It's filled with sugary custard. Very sinful and ultra delicious. We ate lots and the bill came up to HKD130 for 3 people. Very reasonable.

Silk tie galore

Check out the tie at the end with the ancient Chinese writing. I think the ties were selling for HKD100 for 4. Too bad I don't wear ties.

Shoes logo

Not one of my most impressive items but I think it was one of the firsts. Yellow and black shoe logo.

Doggie

This adorable dog was holding a yellow rope in his mouth. He was just sitting at one of the stalls being set up on Ladies street in HK. We arrived early and things weren't set up yet and I got a picture of him.

Imitation bag

HK is full of imitation bags and you may recognize this one. It's so yellow and black that I'd consider using it myself.

Delicious mango pudding

HK is famous also for these delicious mango puddings. Mango's are great but I especially like the Philippine mangoes. This one was nice too. I think this particular bowl cost around HKD20.

CAT

We stumbled into the salvation army store in HK and found some CAT merchandise. CAT which is short for Caterpillar makes tractors and other yellow and black things. This is probably a freebie - but being sold at HKD10.

Hopping yellow and black

A yellow and black frog. Very lovely. Don't know the price.

Delicious tarts

These tarts are so delicious and they only cost HKD6 a piece. What? They're worth it.

Guess what this is

Guess what this device strapped to a pole in the street does? Well at a cross walk you look at the green man to know when its ok to cross. If you're blind, maybe you listen for a walk siren which is a repeating tone at a particular speed. If you're blind and deaf, you put your finger underneath this device, and feel its vibrations. Amazing.

Bart head

I love the Simpson's and Hong Kong has lots of Simpson merchandise, although not all original. This is a Bart head coin box i found at one of the street markets in HK. Didn't ask the price but you'd be sure to get about a 50% discount.

Even Bruce Lee likes it

The greatest martial art hero likes yellow and black. Bruce Lee is great because he doesn't just play a kung fu warrior in the movies, he IS one in real life. If you watch his biography, you'd know that he developed a martial arts style called Jeet Kune Do. He was said to be able to punch a guy across a room by moving his fist just 1 inch. This is a wax figure of him at Madame Tussaud in HK.

Time for more yellow and black

Saw a big add for this watch at Landmark on Makati Avenue. Then I saw it in the counter. It's actually kinda ugly - but its Nike and its yellow and black. My guess is around PHP800. I could be totally off.

Want.... I want....

Whenever I go to the Philippines, I always check ebay for something to buy. I saw this PSP Simpson special edition for PHP12,500. Oh I want it so bad. This photo was taken from a shop. It's yellow and it comes with the Simpson's game on UMD. It's a special limited edition PSP only available in Europe.

Trendy

Pinays are quite trendy sometimes. And I've always liked Kenneth Cole stuff. My sis gave me a Kenneth Cole toiletries bag and I love it. These are yellow Kenneth Cole ladies handbags I saw at Rustan's in Glorietta. Knowing Kenneth Cole, these costs a lot. Maybe PHP10k?

Furniture too

The Phillippines has some nice furniture including this yellow chair. I think the frame is steel but the material is some sort of leather. Guess pricing around PHP3500 per chair.

Northface bag

Here is another bag spotted in the Philippines. This time its a huge duffle bag from Northface. Must be quite expensive. Estimate PHP1000.

Milestone

I've surpassed 100 posts with this one. Since I travel, I not only see yellow and black things in my home country of Malaysia but I also pick up stuff from places I visit. I'm not saying these things you can only get in those countries, only that they exist there as well. First an adidas bag from the Philippines. Don't know the cost for this one. Estimate it at PHP300.

What did the tool say to the wall?

Hey baby, wanna screw? Stanley makes tools. Even screwdrivers. And they are all yellow and black. This is the iconic construction colours. Price range from RM20.

Tea anyone

I was out and about when I saw this lovely china tea set. Quite nice I thought until I saw the price tag. RM19,900. It must be nicer than I thought. Who loves tea that much? But wait... Its been discounted 37% Its now only RM12,537. Excuse me while I buy a 40 inch HD LCD TV.

Euro 2008

Its a Euro 2008 training ball. No it is! Unfortunately David Beckham won't be kicking it around because England is out of the Euro 2008 championships. To think... Greece won this event in 2006. The 2006 world cup holders Italy are from Europe. Just goes to show, anything can happen in football. Cost RM60

Doggie

This doggie on a key chain is so cute. It has a black patch over its eye. Its made out of that PVC material and filled with fluff. Cost: RM6.90

Its a dress

Yes its a dress. I don't recall where or when I took this picture but there it is. You can tell there's a lot of junk in my collection. To be fair, I've seen lots of other yellow and black dresses. So having one in my collection isn't so bad.

Extreme closeup

Sometimes with only 1 chance to take a photo, its not easy to get a good one. This is an extreme close up of a neoprene drink holder made my felton with a draw-string cover. Its good for keeping your drinks warm or cool but using the neoprene as an air/moisture barrier. Costs RM8

Notebook mouse

Its a 5 button notebook mouse with retractable cables made by Targus. Targus makes good stuff and the bonus is the retractable cable. Its also yellow and black. Price Rm51. I didn't buy it. I got another yellow and black mouse which is more stylish but I'm wishing for a wireless mouse.

Back into it

After a long hiatus, I'm back at posting. It doesn't mean I haven't been collecting yellow and black things. So get ready for a flood. This is a car I spotted at Mid Valley valet parking. I think its a japanese car Mazda or Nissan or something. Not sure but I'm sure it costs a lot RM200k. Its a convertible with a black top. How nice.

I bought this clock

I saw this clock in March. Later I bought it for my yellow and black room for RM15. It was 50% off at 1 Utama. Oh yea. I have a yellow and black room in my house. Its awesome and scary at the same time.

Guess

Opening up a new category - here is a mystery yellow and black item. Post a comment to guess what this thing is. If you're right, you might get something. Oh by the way - In 2 months my site has earned 40 cents from Google. Looks like putting on those ads has started to pay dividends. Not! So if you guess correctly I'll split my earnings for the month with you.

Key chain doggie

Saw these two doggies on a keychain. Probably around RM10 each.

GDO chair

Saw this chair at GDO too. Actually I saw something like it in a meeting room once. A bit too much for my taste, but there it is, someone actually bought 30 of these chairs to put in their meeting room. Power to yellow and black.

GDO light

Saw this ceiling light at GDO. Totally forgot about it when I was decorating my yellow and black room. Must be quite expensive but doesn't it look awesome?
