End of watermarks

I decided to stop watermarking images I post here. I realized it was taking too much of my time and that I couldn't update the blog as often. Also I dislike when other people watermark their images as well as realizing I'm pilfering their images under fair use to post here. It's also a result of using more web images rather than those I capture myself. You may notice posts in 2011 have no watermarks.

Bunny suicide

Here is a notebook. It cost 9 us dollars. From fancy and http://www.teneues.com/shop-us/stationery/composition-books/bunny-suicides.html

Painful way to go bunny.

Fancy phonograph

Another fancy contribution and it's indeed an object of desire for me. Here's the description from fancy

BRIONVEGA RR 126 Radiofonografo, 1965 designed by Achille and Oier Ciacomo Castiglioni

Fancy bugatti

Finding yellow and black things for this blog is not easy. You can say it's a full time job. So I've resorted to other sites and apps to help me. I often use this iOS app called Fancy. Here's one of it's contributions. Any contributions from Fancy will have the fancy tag attach. It's not cause I fancy the word fancy, it's just to tag the source as fancy.

Taken from Fancy and http://silodrome.com/1937-bugatti-type-57-roadster-by-worblaufen/

Swiss coachbuilder Worblaufen was responsible for some truly remarkable auto designs between 1929 and 1958. The Bugatti Type 57 pictured above and below is a fine example of Worblaufen’s work and it’s also quite possibly they’re most famous project.

Bugatti produced just 710 Type 57s between 1934 and 1940, they used a modified 3.3 litre twin-cam engine also used in the Type 49. The car was capable of over 100mph, was said to handle well and was used by many wealthy buyers as their primary racing car.

This particular Type 57 is going under the hammer at the upcoming Montery RM Auction being held on the 19th and 20th of August 2011, you can view the cars listing page here. There is currently no listed reserve but if you guessed “millions” you’ll be pretty close, a recently auctioned Type 57 went for 3.4 million Euros.

Where to put your books

This conceptual bookend uses the scroll concept and springs to keep the books upright and inplace. I think books are on the way out. If you ever been to a book warehouse sale you might know why. Loads of books with hardly any buyers or interest.

Bi bim bap

Bi bim bap a Korean dish characterized by the central bullseye egg surrounded by fresh ingredients of different colours. There's carrots, dried seaweed, onions, ground chicken, lots of sesame seeds which I like, cucumbers, lettuce, mushrooms and spinach. Healthy? I'd say so. Cost about RM15 in Mont Kiara.

Ohhhhhh long

A copycat from Garnier another mascara maker who uses yellow and black packaging. RM70 bucks. Sheesh mascara is expensive. This one appears to be from Japan.

Dicksmith and the Richmond tigers

Tigers being naturally yellow and black are often used as mascots. Here the Richmond Tigers and AFL (Australian football league) team in Queensland Have dicksmith as a supporter. Go tigers.

Fiat old school design

The new Fiat 500 looks great in yellow. Saw this in model in Bangkok. Costs between 100k to 120k in ringgits. My dad had a different fiat and it gave him loads of problems. Still rather go for a mini.

Yummy

Homemade cupcakes yellow and black. Costs pennies to make.

Flights of fancy

Ever heard of yellow and black jewelry? The fancy tag refers to the fancy app on iOS which shows desirable objects. I pick a few nice ones in yellow and black.

Cinema in yellow

Here's a concept for LCD projector with lovely curves.

Getting round in style
